Beautiful skin requires commitment and not a miracle

Updated: Nov 1, 2023

I am skeptical about JLO’s proclamation that olive oil is the secret to her flawless skin and amazing complexion. My guess is that some sort of neurotoxin and dermal fillers have contributed to her youthful appearance, however, I do agree that medical grade skin care can absolutely essential.

I am always surprised at my patient’s responses when asked what their current skincare routine is.

Getting your Botox® done and not committing to a skin care routine is like going to the dentist but not brushing your teeth. I could go on forever about the importance of skin care. To me, the Holy Grail of my personal skin care routine is medical grade Vivier GrenzCine Serum. Here is a link to one of the Vivier products that we offer in our Medical Spa: https://vivierskin.ca/products/grenzcine-serum?_pos=4&_sid=e26ddcfa8&_ss=r

The science behind Vitamin C is that it is acidic and helps to slough away dead cells from the skins surface leaving it brighter and smoother, which in turn speeds up new cell regeneration and accelerates the production of collagen and elastin. Collagen and elastin are the fibers in the skin that make it plump and less saggy.

Vitamin C serum is the best anti-aging ingredient on the market and is key to maintaining a smooth, even, and glowing complexion. Another use of Vitamin C serum is it reduces scars and areas of hyperpigmentation. An added benefit of Vitamin C serum is that it has UV Protectant properties.

Consistency is essential, so I encourage my patients add it to their daily routine.
